Iceland studio and the February 2026 launch

Overtune is the Icelandic team behind the sequencer. On Roblox they publish Beat Battles as a free experience. The listing created date is 26 February 2026. That is the day the place existed as a joinable server, not a trailer-only landing page.

The studio’s identity matters because the engine is a real music tool dropped into a club, not a tap-arrow chart. Lanes still read Drum, Bass, Guitar, FX, Piano Roll, Keys, and Synth. Beat Battles is not Friday Night Funkin and it is not an unreleased teaser. It is online multiplayer, 25 players per server, playable since that February date.

Those figures are dated. This page will not invent a later MAU or DAU that Overtune has not published. If a September screenshot on your phone shows a different visit count, that is a listing stat, not a license to update the August MAU in this paragraph.

What the write-up is useful for:

Still BETA in September 2026

The Roblox listing last showed an update on 4 September 2026 when we checked. The experience was still tagged BETA. Visits sat around 2.53 million with about 33 thousand favorites. Free to play. Online multiplayer. 25-player servers.

That is the honest September snapshot. It is later than the August article, so visits and favorites can sit above the August player-count language without contradicting it. Visits are not the same metric as MAU. Do not collapse them into one number.

BETA still means shop prices, FX names, and HUD copy can move. It does not mean unreleased. You can join, finish a remix, and take a set on stage tonight. If two wiki pages disagree after a listing bump, prefer BETA notes and the in-game labels, then this Standout recap.

What a front-page spike does not change

Standout does not change the spend order. A Single Loop Box is still 100 gems. A Triple is still 250. A Full Pack is still 1100. New players who arrive from the front page should not open 1100 because the crate is gold. They should finish one 8-16 bar stack, then buy the smallest box that fills a silent Drum or Bass lane.

Standout does not print promo codes. Popularity is the usual reason Roblox games add like-milestone strings later. Until one redeems, the Codes table stays empty on purpose.

4. Read the theme chip (Retro is the named example) and play that room, not the pack you wish it showed.
5. Check Codes once. If the list is empty, spend gems like an adult.
6. Come back to the Updates Hub when a listing date or crate price moves.
